Lessons: Beginning to Advanced
Learn basic or advanced techniques. Supposedly rudiments are the necessary
basis for playing the drums. But for students who are not so advanced,
or just beginning, it is an absolute mystery why they have to struggle
with what they feel to be boring technical exercises when all they really
want to do is just play. But the rudiments are not boring at all if
you can apply the new figure you've learned in its simple form directly
to the drum set. With practice, our excellent instructors can show you
the way. Students learn technique, reading and a variety of styles.
All Drum World teachers are professional drummers.
Scheduling lessons:
Call us at 650-572-9900 to schedule your lessons. You may request
a day, time and instructor. Schedules vary per instructor. Teachers
are paid directly by the student. Lesson rates vary per teacher. Each
studio is equipped with two drum sets (for teacher and student). Lessons
are also available for xylophone, marimba, timpani, bongos, djembe,
and conga. Periodically, Drum World holds master classes and clinics
by various pro drummers. Have Fun, Play Drums!

Playing Drums
Learning to play drums or percussion? Shopping for a new drum
kit? Need an electric practice set? Entry level to high end drums
available from Taye, Gretsch, Mapex, Roland, Latin Percussion, Toca
and Remo. Contact Drum World for details and assistance in selecting
your next drum kit or percussion set up. Education....Books, DVDs,
and other music related items are always available.
Drum World stocks and sells affordable quality Drum Sets, World
Percussion, Cymbals, Hardware and Accessories. All drum kits at
Drum World are assembled, tuned, and ready to play!

The scaled down dimensions and ease of set up make the Taye GoKit
the ultimate configuration for drummers on the run, but many will
be smitten by its sound. With a small drum set you shouldn’t
sacrifice tone. That sound is direct and articulate, fat and sustaining.
It’s also marginally reduced in terms of dBs, making it ideal
for smaller venues such as clubs, pubs, restaurants and churches.
It records in a pinch, and to top it all, makes a great practice
kit. The Go Kit is one of the best mini kits on the market.

The Gretsch Catalina Maple series has been designed for the player
who is looking for quality features, but without the high price.
Classic look and style! "That Great Gretsch Sound'. Have
fun...play a great set of drums.

TD4SX - 6.5 inch "mesh" V-drums with outstanding feel,
versatility and affordablity.
Roland's TD4 series drums are ideal for studio, apartment, or
small residential practice and rehearsals. Call for availability
and price. PLay a quality set of drums.

Have Fun . . . Play Drums!
